These terms and conditions serve as a contract between the customer and Cannella. By paying this invoice, the customer is agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Our Guarantee
At Cannella, we guarantee the provision of professionally and artisanally crafted food products as specified in the website menu or the purchase order. We appreciate your business and we are honored that you have chosen us.
Allergy Disclaimer
Please be aware that all ingredients are processed using the same equipment (eggs, soy, wheat, nuts). Although we have strict processes in place to prevent cross-contact and contamination there is still a slight risk of the presence of any allergens.
Care and Handling
We are not responsible for any damage to your order after pick-up or after delivery is complete. The client is responsible for appropriate storage and maintenance of the product after delivery or pick up. For questions on proper storage and shelf-life, don't hesitate to ask.
Custom Orders
Although we make every attempt to provide an exact design and to match colors, custom cakes are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a color, but we will come as close as possible. The final product may be subject to slight variations. Also, be aware that exposure to light and weather conditions can cause colors to change. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of a color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to lighting. In the event that a major variation is needed prior to order delivery date, Cannella will communicate this to the customer and seek re-design approval.
A deposit of 50% and a signed, fully executed contract is required to consider the custom-project a completed order and services rendered. The remaining balance is due five (5) business days prior to the delivery date. Any changes to this order must be made no later than five (5) business days prior to delivery. Any changes requested after the signing of this contract cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
All deposits are non-refundable. There will be no credit given for orders cancelled within five (5) business days from time of delivery. For cancellations with more than five (5) business days’ notice, credit may be given for a future order. This offer is subject to availability. If full payment is not received the due date, the order may be cancelled.
Refund Policy
Cannella will not offer refunds or exchanges for products that meet our quality standards once a product has been picked up/delivered and “Accepted” by you or another designated party. Additionally, under no circumstances will Cannella provide a refund in excess of the cost of the order. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our possession. We only give refunds if the product does not meet the flavor, size, and general description detailed in the invoice or menu description.
Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Refunds requested due to flavor or texture after a product has been accepted and picked up will be at the sole discretion of Cannella. Cannella may consider a store credit if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards within 24 hours of delivery. Please note, we do taste our products daily to ensure the highest quality. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Cannella. Our baked goods are created from scratch with all natural ingredients. Keep in mind, variety in temperature and humidity may impact the flavor, overall design, or texture of the product to some degree. Please understand we cannot control changes in texture or changes in color or shape due to weather conditions.
Weather Events
Upon the event of a natural disaster, accident or other situation outside of Cannella's control, your contract may be voided, or your delivery date rescheduled.
Out of Stock Items
Our menu changes weekly and our stock fluctuates according to sales demand and production/storage allowances. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will first try to contact you either by phone or via email. We will give you other comparable choices to choose from or reschedule your delivery date.
Photographs and Marketing
We respect the privacy of all our clients. We will not disclose the identity of clients (photographs of people, last names, event details, contract details) without permission. We do however, reserve the right to photograph baked goods and use those photos on our website, social media, or marketing materials. We also reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Your Personal Information
Personal Information is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual, such as a name, address, telephone number or email address. Cannella may collect certain personal information from customers, business partners, employees and candidates for employment. Cannella does not collect personal information when you visit Cannella’s web sites unless you choose to provide such personal information. No credit card information is stored in the Cannella website.
Cannella will use personal information to provide customers and business partners with information and services and to help us better understand your needs and interests. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction or order, to communicate with you, to deliver products/services to you, to bill you for products/services you purchased, and to provide ongoing service and support. Occasionally we may use your information to contact you for marketing and quality assurance purposes. Personal information collected online may be combined with information you provide to Cannella through other sources such as trade shows and/or our advertising campaigns.
Cannella will not share personal information with third parties. Cannella will not sell, trade or lease your personal information to others. We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Cannella does not require that customers, business partners or visitors to Cannella websites provide any personal information. The decision to provide personal information is voluntary. In some instances, if you do not wish to provide the personal information requested, you may not be able to proceed with the activity or receive the benefit for which the personal information is being requested.
Cannella is committed to taking reasonable efforts to secure the personal data you choose to provide us. To protect the privacy of any personal information you may have provided, Cannella employs reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access including Internet firewalls and anti-virus protection. No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. Only those employees who need access to our users’ information in order to do their jobs are allowed access. Employees who violate our privacy policy are subject to disciplinary action.
